Padmini Kolhapure’s Exults On Her Granddaughter’s Birth: A Star Is Born; I’m Off To Switzerland
As you read this, Padmini Kolhapure might be skating in the Alps. The talented senior actress flew out of India, last night around 11 pm. She was brimming with joy. And why not? Her son Priyaank and daughter-in-law Shaza Morani (daughter of Mr and Mrs Karim Morani) have been blessed with a daughter on Wednesday, February 21, and she wanted to celebrate.
Padmini told Zoom exclusively, “You have caught me just as I was boarding a flight. Well, I am off to Switzerland and shall be back only on February 28. I want to enjoy this moment like never before.”
Priyaank’s wife Shaza’s delivery was a normal one and Priyaank also took pictures in the labour room, as Padmini pranced outside in the hospital lobby in nervous anticipation. “Trust me I was so much in a sort of daze that when Priyaank came out of the labour room and gave me the good news ‘It’s a girl’, I thought that it was the doctor who was informing me. Just ten minutes ago, I had been talking to a doctor outside the labour room and I felt that Priyaank’s conversation was in continuity of that “
Naam rakha kya? “Shaza and Priyaank will take the final call but yes, we all have shortlisted a few names. Let’s see what we finally decide upon.”
Parting shot as the plane was about to take off? “A star is born,” Padmini concluded
You can bet that Ms Kolhapure will be shopping unlimited for the newborn in Switzerland. And of course, we won’t be a wee bit surprised if her granddaughter’s clothes and toys shopping had already been done in abundance.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Tutu Sharma, Mr and Mrs Karim Morani, Mr and Mrs Priyaank Sharma!
