Lady Of Camelot has won the $5 million Golden Slipper at Rosehill Gardens.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained filly beat $41 chance Coleman while hot favourite Storm Boy was third.
Lady Of Camelot was ridden by Blake Shinn.
Storm Boy missed the start from barrier 2 and was shuffled back midfield in the run.
Ryan Moore went back to the inside at the top of the straight and he hit the lead but couldn’t hold off the first two out wider on the track.
Bott said it was a “fantastic” result.
“It’s a great race to win; we’re delighted to do it alongside a special person in Gai Waterhouse,” she said.
It was Waterhouse’s eighth Slipper victory.
Shinn said he was “so happy”.
“We just needed to bide our time,” he said. “Gai brought me to Sydney and for her to give me a chance … this is going to make a lot of people happy”.
Watching from afar due to carrying a knee injury, Waterhouse’s reaction to the win was priceless.
“We’ve just seen some of the most remarkable, I think, pieces of television in our lifetime,” Bruce McAvaney said.

It’s a bumper day of racing in Sydney, with Rosehill Gardens hosting five Group 1 races including the biggest 2YO contest on the calendar, the $5m Golden Slipper.
The deserved favourite for the juvenile affair is the Gai Waterhouse/Adrian Bott-trained Storm Boy, who is unbeaten from four starts.
If he can win the Slipper and other 2YO races such as the Gr. 1 Champagne Stakes and Gr.1 Sires Produce, Storm Boy could be worth at least $50 million after the owners made a deal with breeding giant Coolmore.
The son of Justify won the rich Magic Millions 2YO Classic in January and has already earned $2.2 million for his owners in his four starts.
Waterhouse will be aiming for her 8th Golden Slipper, with the stable saddling up six horses in the race.
The main danger to the favourite is the Chris Waller-trained Switzerland, who is also unbeaten from his three starts.
The Golden Slipper field is set to jump at 4:40pm AEDT.
Meanwhile in Melbourne, superstar sprinting mare Imperatriz won her second consecutive William Reid Stakes and her 10th career Group 1.
The superstar Kiwi was well ridden by jockey Opie Bosson, hitting the lead 200m out and holding off a late challenge by rank outsider Johnny Rocker.
