Ikea Switzerland has announced that it will raise the minimum wage for its employees. This decision particularly affects employees in sales, catering and logistics.
From January 1, 2025, the minimum wage will rise from CHF 4,000 to CHF 4,300. This increase of 7.5 percent also applies to employees without vocational training.
The company employs over 3500 people in Switzerland. A third of this workforce has been with Ikea for at least ten years.
