England Vs Switzerland Predictions: The Panel's Best Bets & Euro 2024 Tips

England Vs Switzerland Betting Tips:

England, like many teams at Euro 2024, have underperformed at Euro 2024, so far.
Will their dramatic 2-1 win over Slovakia be the spark needed to ignite their tournament?

Gareth Southgate will hope so as he manages his country for the 100th time in their quarter-final against Switzerland in Dusseldorf on Saturday.

The Three Lions started the tournament as favourites and they remain top of the market at 4/1 with the UK betting sites because they are on the ‘easier’ side of the draw.

The Swiss will not just roll over especially with a semi-final spot up for grabs. They have scored the first goal in three of their four matches in Germany and if they open the scoring against England, they will be hard to beat.

Switzerland can be backed at 16/1 to be crowned European champions on July 14.

England Vs Switzerland Prediction: Open Game Expected

If Jude Bellingham’s overhead kick in the dying seconds of normal time against Slovakia doesn’t kickstart England’s Euro 2024 campaign, then nothing will.

That, coupled with Harry Kane’s winner moments later, should breathe new life into the England camp ahead of their quarter-final against Switzerland.

England have not been at their best in this tournament, but with a place in the semi-finals at stake, this is the time to put that right. Switzerland will surely bring the best out of Southgate’s side.

Over 2.5 total goals was a winning bet in three of the four quarter-finals at Euro 2020 and we are going for it to land in this tie.

England’s squad is much better than their opponents, and if they can settle early, then we can expect the Three Lions to show why they were pre-tournament favourites on betting apps.

The Panel are going for England to win in normal time and over 2.5 total goals.

England Vs Switzerland Prediction: Kane To Deliver Knockout Blow

Ahead of the round of 16 tie with Slovakia, Harry Kane reminded people that he was confident England would win and that he had a good record when it came to knockout games at major tournaments.

England won 2-1 thanks to his goal early in extra-time to break the hearts of Slovakia.

It was Kane’s eighth goal in his last nine knockout games and his second of Euro 2024.

No Golden Boot winner at the Euros has come from the winning team, but Kane will be hoping to put that right.

Donyell Malen and Merih Demiral became the first players to score multiple goals at Euro 2024, and Kane is 12/1 to bag a brace against the Swiss.

Kane’s odds of 8/5 to be an anytime scorer on football betting sites should not be ignored.

England Vs Switzerland Prediction: Late Drama Expected

Euro 2024 has provided its fair share of late drama and we could be in for more in the quarter-finals.

Of the 100 goals scored in the 46 matches to date, 24 have come in the final 15 minutes, and that includes the time added on by referees.

It’s the most popular 15-minute period for goals at this tournament, with England and Switzerland involved in their own late drama.

England will hope they don’t have to rely on another late, late show this time, but if they need a 95th minute equaliser or winner, they’ll take it. Southgate’s side have yet to concede a second-half goal.

Switzerland have been on both sides of late goals so far this summer. They sealed a 3-1 win over Hungary in their opener thanks to Breel Embolo’s 93rd-minute strike.

In their second group game, they looked like sealing three points against hosts Germany, who snatched a point thanks to Niclas Fullkrug’s late header.

A goal to be scored in the 76th minute or later is too good to pass up at 11/8 with BetGoodwin.
