Germany will face Switzerland in their final group-stage game in Euro 2024. The hosts have already secured their qualification for the knockout stage but could still lose their top spot in Group A. Here is Last Word on Football’s Germany predicted lineup for the upcoming match.
Germany Predicted Lineup vs Switzerland
How Germany Have Lined up Recently
Nagelsmann’s first lineup for the tournament defeated Scotland 5-1 and remained unchanged against Hungary. The Mannschaft claimed another impressive victory as they cruised past their second opponents 2-0.
Manuel Neuer started behind a four-man backline of Joshua Kimmich, Jonathan Tah, Antonio Rudiger and Maximilian Mittelstädt.

In midfield, Nagelsmann paired Toni Kroos with Robert Andrich, who seems to have secured his starting spot ahead of Pascal Gross.
Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala started on the wings and had another impressive evening, with the latter scoring his side’s opening goal of the game. Captain Ilkay Gundogan played behind Kai Havertz, who stayed as Germany’s target striker.
Germany Recent Form and Tactics
Five days after their crushing victory over Scotland, the Mannschaft continued their brilliant start to the tournament by beating Hungary 2-0. Nagelsmann’s side did not have to wait long for the opening goal as Jamal Musiala scored his second goal at Euro 2024 in the 22nd minute.
Unlike Scotland, Hungary found a host of solid chances to get back into the game. However, Manuel Neuer’s brilliant performance helped Germany maintain their lead before Ilkay Gundogan finished off the job with a perfect finish in the second half.

Two games into the tournament, the hosts are now considered among the main favourites to win the title. A draw would secure the Mannschaft’s qualification to the next round as group leaders, but they look too motivated to play it safe against Switzerland on Sunday.
Germany Injuries To Consider
The Mannschaft have stayed clear of injuries so far in the tournament, with Nagelsmann having a full squad at his disposal.
Leroy Sane came off the bench against Hungary and played for 28 minutes. However, Nagelsmann admitted the German winger is still worried that “his injury might come back”.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the former Bayern Munich manager said: “He didn’t train for almost five weeks at the end of the season. It just takes time for him to get back into the rhythm. I’ll give him the time. He just has to be a bit patient at the moment. That’s not a problem for him.”
