How to watch USA vs. Switzerland in Women’s Beach Volleyball Quarterfinal at Paris Olympics

Sarah Hughes and Kelly Cheng are taking on Switzerland in the Women’s Beach Volleyball Quarterfinals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. You can watch the match live on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 4 p.m. ET.

Stream the match for free with trials from Fubo or DIRECTV Stream, and it will also be available on Sling and Peacock.

Set the first of these three to record the match ahead of time if you don’t plan to watch live. Peacock will automatically upload events as they are completed to watch later. NBC may also air clips of the match as part of their primetime coverage Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET.

About the match:

Best friends Sarah Hughes and Kelly Cheng are the last duo from the United States left in the Olympic Beach Volleyball Quarterfinals. They will take on Switzerland’s Huberli and Brunner. Team USA’s other female duo, Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth, lost to Canada earlier this week.

Hughes and Cheng have fought some hard battles in this year’s tournament, but they have held their own, only giving up one game in the process. Their record so far is 2-0 against Czechia’s Hermannova/Stochlova, 2-0 against France’s Vieira/Chamereau and 2-0 against Germany’s Muller/Tillmann. Their last match was against Italy’s Gottardi/Menegatti, who gave them a run for their money, but in the end, Hughes and Cheng won 2-1.

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Team USA took home the gold medal in this event with April Ross and Alexandra Klineman. Switzerland received the bronze medal thanks to Joana Heidrich and Anouk Verge-Depre.

Watch to see who moves on to the semifinals later this week. Tune in to Team USA’s quarterfinal beach volleyball match today, Aug. 6, at 4/3c. The match will be played in front of the Eiffel Tower.
