The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh hit the slopes in Switzerland as they enjoyed a skiing holiday at the exclusive resort of St Moritz.
Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, both 59, were joined by Suzie Watt, the wife of the Royal Hospital’s Governor Sir Redmond Watt, during their snow-filled trip in the Swiss Alps.
The royal couple arrived on Saturday with friends, but without their children, Lady Louise Windsor, 20, and James, Earl of Wessex, 16.
Edward and Sophie appeared to be in high spirits as they showed off their skiing skills before sharing a chairlift with a group of school children.
St Moritz is something of a celebrity haunt for die-hard skiers, frequently visited by the likes of John Travolta, Liz Hurley and Ivana Trump, as well as a string of royals.

The couple jetted out in style from Britain in a £42million Dassault Falcon 7X.
Capable of flying at speeds of almost 600mph, the jet can carry up to 16 passengers, and includes five convertible beds, two bathrooms, high-speed internet and a Blu-Ray entertainment system.
Shortly after landing near St Moritz, the couple departed the airfield in black Range Rovers and made their way to the upmarket ski enclave, as shown in photographs that surfaced today.
Sophie and Edward have visited the exclusive ski resort on a number of occasions with their children, Louise and James.
In 2019, Louise, then 15, ended up on crutches after a fall on a similar family ski trip in the Swiss Alps.
Heartwarming photos from the royal couple’s latest trip show the ski-mad duo practicing their skills with friends, while enjoying the beautiful clear weather.
Meanwhile, other members of the Royal Family attended the service of thanksgiving at Windsor Castle for the late King Constantine of Greece today.

Prince William had also been due to give a reading but pulled out at the last minute for ‘personal reasons’.
No further detail was given on William’s absence, and it is not known if this relates to his wife, the Princess of Wales’ ongoing recovery following her abdominal surgery last month.
The Prince of Wales is understood to have called the Greek Royal family to apologise, while Kensington Palace confirmed Kate was ‘doing well’ as she recovers at home.
Camilla was joined by Prince Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York, their daughter Princess Beatrice, King Charles’ sister Princess Anne, and her daughter Zara Tindall, as well as the late King Constantine’s widow Queen Anne-Marie, their eldest son, Crown Prince Pavlos and other members of the Greek royal family.
