Scotland will need an immediate response in the second match of their Euro 2024 campaign against Switzerland.
The Tartan Army suffered humiliation at the hands of hosts Germany in the competition opener, losing 5-1 after going down to 10 men due to Ryan Porteous’ red card.
And they will have their work cut out again against Switzerland.
The Swiss put in a strong performance to beat Hungary 3-1 in their first match, despite a second half resurgence from their opponents.
Defeat for the Scots would seriously dent their hopes of reaching the knockout stages of a major tournament for the first ever time.
Meanwhile, the Red Crosses could effectively seal their place in the round of 16 with a win.

Scotland vs Switzerland: Team news and latest squads
Scotland will be forced into making at least one change to the side which lined up against Germany after Porteous was handed a two-match ban for his red card challenge in the match.
Grant Hanley is expected to take his place in the back line, having been brought on in the second half of their Euro 2024 opener after the sending off.
Elsewhere, Steve Clarke could further tweak his starting XI following the demolition in Munich, with Brighton‘s Billy Gilmour tipped for a recall to inject some composure in midfield.
Che Adams is expected to get the nod ahead of Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland up front, despite being sacrificed on 46 minutes after Porteous’ dismissal.
Switzerland’s main selection headache comes in attack, as striker Breel Embolo marked his international comeback after an ACL injury with a late goal off the bench to seal victory against Hungary.
But with starting forward Kwadwo Duah also scoring in the match to open his account for his national side, manager Murat Yakin may opt for an unchanged front line.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Denis Zakaria (thigh) and Steven Zuber (calf) will recover in time for the Scotland clash, having been left out of the matchday squad against Hungary.

Scotland vs Switzerland: What has been said?
Scotland boss Clarke has challenged his players to issue an immediate response following their opening game disappointment.
He said: “We believe in ourselves.
“There is no danger of that not being the case. We know it was a bad night. We have to accept the criticism that comes our way but we have to try to put it right.
“The players have to be resilient because it is a game, especially club football, of emotions.
“You can have a terrible result on a Saturday and have to be bouncing back, ready to go on a Tuesday or a Wednesday night. So it’s a rollercoaster of emotions.
“It’s the same here. They understand they have let everybody down. They are disappointed.
“But they know they have to be ready and up for the next game because that’s the nature of being involved in football. I am always confident in my players and I am confident in myself.”
