RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks announced today a new partnership with Condor Airlines to become the Proud Airline Partner of Seahawks Deutschland. Under the partnership, Condor Airlines will provide air travel for the Seahawks business operations team and Legends to fly to and from Germany for signature events including NFL games, Oktoberfest, and youth flag football tournaments. Condor Airlines will also have a presence on the Seahawks Deutsch Instagram feed during select Seahawks gamedays.
The new partnership is part of the team’s strategic expansion into Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as part of the NFL’s Global Markets Program.
Condor proudly serves Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) with year-round, non-stop service to and from Frankfurt on next-generation Airbus A330neo aircraft sporting Condor’s signature, eye-catching striped branding.
The Seahawks have long had a strong international fan base and have amplified their global brand presence through their “12s Everywhere” fan engagement program. During the 2022 season, the Seahawks played in front of a sold-out nearly 70,000 crowd at the NFL’s first ever game in Germany at Allianz Arena in Munich.
“Condor has been serving the Seahawks’ hometown airport for more than a decade, and we are now thrilled to be the team’s carrier of choice as the Seahawks organization spreads its wings and the franchise to Germany, Switzerland and Austria,” said Mikko Turtiainen, director of sales, The Americas.
