Serbia pulled off a somewhat surprising win over Switzerland in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday, with an own-goal by Nico Elvedi giving them the lead late in the first half, and Aleksandar Mitrovic scoring a fine goal with an hour gone to set the final score at 2-0.
The Swiss had their chances in this game, but their concentration in front of goal left a lot to be desired.
In the 71st minute, Serbia defender Kosta Nedeljkovic committed a foul inside the box and the visitors were awarded a penalty. Breel Embolo stepped up and took the shot, but Predrag Rajkovic in the Serbia goal read his mind and went the right way.
