Swiss Airspace Reduced as Skyguide Responds to Global Tech Outages | Business

Skyguide, the Swiss air traffic control company, has disclosed that, as a precautionary measure, it has temporarily decreased Swiss air traffic capacity by 30% due to global technical outages.

‘Following a request from Zurich airport, Skyguide is currently not accepting any further incoming flights,’ the company stated. They noted that Geneva air traffic control was currently operating without restrictions.

This move aims to ensure enhanced safety and operational efficiency in the midst of the technological disruptions affecting airspace management globally.
