Germany will hope to continue their perfect start to Euro 2024 on Sunday when they go up against Switzerland in their final Group A clash.
With two wins in two, Germany have already booked their place in the Euro 2024 round of 16. They will now have their sights set on securing top spot in Group A. A tricky test against Switzerland lies in store for Julian Nagelsmann’s side in Frankfurt on Sunday evening.
Switzerland earned an impressive 3-1 win over Hungary in their Euro 2024 opener, but were held to a 1-1 draw by Scotland in Köln on matchday two. Despite that draw, Switzerland are all but assured of a place in the round of 16, and a win on Sunday would see them clinch top spot at Germany’s expense.
Scotland and Hungary will also be facing off at the same time on Sunday (kick-off at 9 pm CEST), but Germany and Switzerland will not need to worry about that game as they are set to finish as the top two in Group A.
Germany could not have asked for a better start to Euro 2024, with the squad currently firing on all cylinders. But with the knockout stage on the horizon, they will be determined to keep the momentum going.
