July 22 – UEFA has drawn the ties for the final knock-out rounds of the 2025 Women’s European Qualifiers play-offs.
The two rounds of two-legged contests will see 28 teams compete for the last seven finals slots, including eight teams who played at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in England.
The first round will be played between October 23 and 29, and round 2 between November 27 and December 3.
Already qualified are hosts Switzerland and direct qualifiers Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
Round 1 will be played between 23 and 29 October, and round 2 between 27 November and 3 December.
The draw for the finals will take place December 16 in Lausanne, while the finals will be played July 2-27.
Former champions Sweden (2022) and Norway (1987 and 1993) are among the play-off contenders but will not meet in either of the knockout rounds.
In 2022, Sweden were semi-finalists while both Austria and Belgium made the last eight. Finland, Northern Ireland, Norway and Portugal also played in England.
