It is Matchday 3 for Group A at UEFA Euro 2024 and host nation Germany takes the pitch against Switzerland at Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, June 23.
The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on Fox. Fans looking to watch can do so through FuboTV or DirecTV Stream, both of which offer a free trial. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but does have other promotional offers available.
The Germans have been considered the class of the tournament through two matches with only Spain and Portugal keeping pace with two wins as well. A 5-1 win over Scotland opened Euro 2024 and a 2-0 victory over Hungary gave Germany the first bid into the Round of 16.
Switzerland needs points to guarantee a berth to the Knockout Stage, but as long as Scotland does not win over Hungary in the other Group A match, Switzerland will advance as the second-best team from Group A. It earned a draw against Scotland in its last match after defeating Hungary 3-1 to start the tournament. And with a victory over Germany, it would earn the top spot in the group with 7 points.
Whoever finishes first between these two will play the second-place finisher in Group C while the second-place finishers in Group A and B will meet in the Round of 16.

Italy has set a record at UEFA Euro 2024, but not as a national club on the pitch.
As explained in an Associated Press story, five Italian head coaches across the 24-team tournament is a record, surpassing the three Dutch coaches at the 16-team Euro 2008.
Italy coach Luciano Spalletti is joined by Vincenzo Montella (Turkey), Domenico Tedesco (Belgium), Marco Rossi (Hungary) and Francesco Calzona (Slovakia).
“It is a great source of pride for all of Italian soccer and especially for our coaching school,” Italian federation coaching school director and former coach Renzo Ulivieri said in an interview with The Associated Press.
“The secret (to Italian managerial success) is our predisposition to the art of making the best out of everything, even in difficult situations,” Ulivieri added. “An Italian-Neapolitan art, which is often useful in being a coach.”
